Take some time out

Just a little PSA here;
After returning from an amazing (and much needed) family vacation on Cape Cod, I realized a few things;
a) we need to slow the heck down. I know for most people this seems near impossible, but the effort is worth it. Are you one of those people who freaks out if you forget your iphone at home? Thought so.
b) All the things you feel like you need to stress about, will be waiting when you get back. Sure, you’ll have a few more emails than when you left, but the world isn’t going to fall apart.
c) You’ll be better at your job when you get back. You’ll be more well-rounded because hopefully you’ve gained a little clarity while you were away. Work isn’t everything, so much as it’s part of our “story”. It’ doesn’t define you.
Give it a whirl. You’ll be glad you did.

Gun show?

There was at one time in our culture a rather popular assumption regarding mens fashion; there is a direct (inverse) correlation between a gentlemans IQ and the amount of upper arm skin shown. Unless one was on the way to the beach, or the gym, or was a professional athlete, the upper bicep and deltoid (that’s the “shoulder” for you anatomy novices), a little should be left to the imagination.
Well well, how it seems the tides have turned, and for the better we might add. No, these are not your “property of Duke athletics” or “insert-your-favorite-pro-athlete” replica jerseys we’re talking about; these are bona fide fashion statements. Tastefully designed, fashionably cut (read; they don’t go down to your knees) and soft as heck, we’d suggest adding one to your wardrobe. Coming soon from F&F.
